Untilt is a local-first macOS trading discipline tool. It does not connect to your broker, does not place trades, and does not run an Untilt-owned cloud sync service.
What Untilt stores on your Mac
Untilt stores the information you choose to enter so the app can run your discipline workflow:
Trade log entries such as wins, losses, rejected setups, checklists, cooldowns, reviews, and settings.
Your custom setups, pre-market routine, review questions, trading manifesto, hotkey preferences, and export folder setting.
Voice note audio and transcripts if you choose to record voice notes.
App Store purchase entitlement cache used to avoid showing the wrong Pro state while the App Store refreshes.
This data is stored locally on your Mac unless you explicitly use an optional feature described below.
Optional data leaving your device
Voice note transcription. If you record a voice note, Untilt may use macOS Speech recognition to transcribe it. Depending on your system settings and Apple's speech recognition behavior, Apple may process audio for transcription.
App Store billing. Purchases, subscriptions, trials, refunds, and billing identity are handled by Apple.
What Untilt does not collect
No broker credentials, account login, positions, orders, balances, buying power, or execution access.
No market data feed credentials.
No advertising identifier, ad network profile, or cross-app tracking data.
No Untilt account, cloud sync profile, or analytics telemetry pipeline.
Permissions
Microphone. Requested only when you start a voice note recording.
Speech Recognition. Requested only when a voice note needs transcription.
Network. Used for App Store purchases and Apple services. Untilt does not use network access to connect to brokers.
User-selected files and folders. Used when you choose an export folder.
Export and deletion
You can export your local review content from the app. You can delete local app data from your Mac using normal macOS file management. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel App Store subscriptions; manage subscriptions through your Apple account.
Children
Untilt is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
